The project
Box sits within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which means any development here faces a higher bar on design quality and visual sensitivity. The Old Timber Yard is a development of 20 two, three, and four bedroom homes in a village setting where the quality of the build and the appearance of every external detail matters.
What we delivered
Solar PV across all 20 plots, specified and installed with the visual constraints of an AONB location front of mind. In-roof systems were used where roof visibility was a planning consideration, ensuring the solar installation complemented the architecture rather than working against it. Every system was MCS certified and handed over with the full documentation pack.
Why it worked
Installing solar in a conservation-sensitive area requires more than technical competence.
