Why install solar now

Why homeowners across the South West are choosing solar

Energy prices have risen sharply over the past few years and are unlikely to fall back to where they were. A home solar system reduces how much grid electricity you need to buy and puts you in control of your energy costs.

  • Reduce your monthly electricity bills
  • Protect against rising energy prices
  • Generate clean energy from your own roof
  • Increase your property value and EPC rating

What we install

Home solar systems built around your property

Solar PV for your home

Designed around your home, your roof, and your energy use. Suitable for terraced, semi-detached, detached, and bungalow properties across the South West. We size the system to match your consumption so you are generating what you actually use, not just maximising panel count.

Home battery storage

Store the solar energy your panels generate during the day and use it in the evening when generation stops. A battery also lets you import cheap off-peak electricity at night to cover any remaining demand. The result is less reliance on the grid and lower bills throughout the day.

EV charger installation

Charge your car directly from your solar system. When your panels are generating more than your home needs, that surplus goes straight into your vehicle rather than back to the grid. Over time it is like having a private petrol station with no fuel costs.

Will solar work on my property

Solar panels work on most South West homes

We survey properties of every type. The only way to know what your specific roof can support is a free site assessment.

Detached homes

Flexible roof orientation, no shared walls, and often the largest available roof area. Detached properties offer the most system design options and typically support larger installations.

Semi-detached homes

One of the most common installations across the South West. The available roof sections suit a range of system sizes, and most semi-detached properties perform well with the right panel placement.

Terraced homes

Solar works on terraced houses. The roof area may be smaller, but a correctly sized system can still cover a significant portion of a household's energy use. We design around what your roof can support.

Bungalows

Single-storey roofs are often an ideal shape for solar. The pitch and orientation on many bungalows suit solar panel placement well, and access is straightforward for installation.

3 bedroom homes

A 3 bed home typically suits a 3.5 to 5kW system depending on energy use, roof size and orientation. This size range covers a large proportion of daytime consumption for a typical household.

4 bedroom homes

Larger homes with higher consumption benefit from bigger systems and often see the clearest financial case for adding battery storage alongside solar. We size every system on actual data, not property size alone.

How it works

From first enquiry to installation

Every stage is handled by the same team. No handoffs, no confusion, one point of contact throughout.

1

You get in touch and we call you back the same day

Call, email, or use the contact details below. We respond to all residential enquiries the same working day, Monday to Friday.

2

We book your free site survey

One of our sales managers visits your property, assesses the roof, reviews your energy bills, and talks through the right system for your home. No cost, no obligation.

3

We design your system and send a clear proposal

You receive a written proposal with the full system specification, expected output, and costs broken down in plain English. No technical jargon, no hidden numbers.

4

A technical surveyor confirms the design

Before any work is committed, a technical surveyor checks the design against your roof structure and flags any installation considerations. This prevents surprises on the day.

5

We agree install dates and begin

We take a 25% deposit to book your slot, then 35% when materials are ordered. Most residential installs are completed in one or two days on site.

6

Installation complete, full handover pack provided

Your system is commissioned, tested, and signed off. You receive your MCS certificate and a full handover document. Final 40% is due on completion.

Pricing and payment

What does home solar cost?

Every quote is tailored to your home, your roof, and your energy use. System size, orientation, property type, and whether you add battery storage all affect the price. We do not publish generic figures because they rarely reflect what a specific property will cost.

The only way to get an accurate number is a free site survey. We visit, assess, and come back with a written proposal in plain English. No hidden costs, no finance, no surprises.
