The project
Killams Park is an ongoing relationship. We worked with Summerfield Homes across Phase 2 and Phase 3 of this Taunton development, delivering in-roof solar PV systems across a mix of two, three, and four bedroom properties. The GSE in-roof system was specified for its clean aesthetic and planning-sensitive profile, a consideration that matters in a visible residential setting.
What we delivered
In-roof GSE solar PV systems ranging from 1.4kW to 4kW depending on plot size and roof geometry. System sizes were tailored per property type rather than applied as a blanket specification, which means each home has a system proportionate to its likely energy demand. MCS certification per plot, full handover packs, and a consistent delivery programme across two phases of build.
Why it worked
Returning to work with the same developer across multiple phases is the clearest sign that the relationship is working. Summerfield Homes came back to us for Phase 3 because Phase 2 was delivered cleanly, on time, and without the snags that slow handovers down. That's the only measure that matters on a phased scheme.
