The project
Danes Lane is a mixed tenure development of 21 apartments and houses in Keynsham, a town that sits between Bristol and Bath with strong demand for quality new homes. Mixed developments with both apartments and houses present a more complex solar brief than a standard housing scheme, with different roof types, orientations, and energy profiles across the same site.
What we delivered
Solar PV across the full development, with system designs tailored to both the house plots and the apartment building. MCS certification per unit, coordinated handover packs for all 21 properties, and a delivery programme that worked around the sequencing of a mixed-tenure build.
Why it worked
Managing solar delivery across both houses and apartments on the same programme requires a level of coordination that straightforward housing schemes do not. Getting the certification right across different property types, and making sure every buyer's handover pack is accurate and complete, is the detail work that protects the developer's reputation at the point of sale.
